Elsewhere, the 1300D’s core specification is very much what we’d expect from an entry-level DSLR. Shutter speeds range from 30secs to 1/4,000sec, sensitivity ranges from ISO 100-6,400 (with an extended setting of 12,800) and video capture is possible at a maximum quality setting of 1,080p full HD at 30fps.
Indeed Canon's native video formats implemented in 1300D will do just fine with Class 10 cards. Most of the time 6 MByte/s is sufficient. If however OP intend to use Magic Lantern and its raw recording features Class 10 won't make him happy. Higher performance will be asked for.

The Canon 1300D Camera updates the Canon 1200D, and what makes it a special version is the addition of built-in Wi-Fi, and the higher resolution 920k-dot LCD screen. The camera is provided with an affordable price, and that is because it is mainly targeting beginner photographers, and that is the main reason why it has the minimum needed specs
The weight of the camera can be an extremely important factor, especially if the camera is about to be used, or carried around, for several hours at a time. Canon EOS 1300D weighs 485 gr (equal to 1,07 lb) which is 1% heavier than Canon EOS 1200D and its 480 gr (or 1,06 lb). Camera. Weight. Canon EOS 1200D.
2. Canon 1300D has DIGIC 4+ processor while Canon 1200D has DIGIC 4. Although I don't find much difference when used. 3. Canon 1300D has 920K dots on LCD as compared to 460K, but it's not very exciting update for me. As a Photographer LCD of camera is not that important and existing LCD of Canon 1200D is good. 4. Canon 1300D has Wi-Fi and NFC
Canon EOS 1300D video. Both the 1300D and the 1200D offer 1080p video recording at 30, 25 and 24fps. All of Canon’s DSLR line-up has full HD video recording, but that’s starting to look a little ordinary at a time where 4K video recording is becoming increasingly popular. It’s no surprise to see full HD only on an entry-level, low-cost
Many thanks for this information as a starting point for Astrophotography. I have a Canon 800D and have referenced the 80D ISOs as suggested and use Daylight balance. I use the Canon 800D with a Canon fixed 200mm f2.8 lens for planet or DSOs. However, at 100 or 200 am unable to capture anything beyond the moon and brighter planets.
332.27 mm². vs. 332.27 mm². Difference: 0 mm² (0%) 650D and 1300D sensors are the same size. Note: You are comparing cameras of different generations. There is a 4 year gap between Canon 650D (2012) and Canon 1300D (2016). All things being equal, newer sensor generations generally outperform the older.
