You will achieve far less in a day trip to Penida than Lembongan, and the Bukit is nice but not the wow factor you get landing on Lembongan with the mesmerising color of the water and sun bouncing off the sand. Forget Penida for a day trip and choose NL or Bukit. Just wondering if Nusa Lembogan is worth a visit if I don’t ride motorcycles or scooters. I really wanna visit next month, and enjoy the diving the surfing, but I don’t wanna go and essentially be stuck in my accommodation since I don’t have a drivers license (I live in NYC, most people here don’t drive). Where to stay in Nusa Lembongan for the best beaches: Dream Beach. Dream Beach is exactly that: a dream! You will want to have this at the top of your to-visit list as it is one of the best beaches of all three islands. The only downside is that a lot of other tourists think the same, so to avoid the crowds the best time to head this way is in Lembongan's premier beach club, restaurant and bar for dining, cocktails, sunsets & great times. Open from 7am - 11:30pm. Located on the beach out the front of Shipwrecks surfbreak in Jungut Batu on Nusa Lembongan. Daily sunset sessions and beach bonfire. Happy hours. International DJs. Cafe, Two pools. Swim up bar. Night club, Rooftop bar, sunset sessions and parties on Nusa Lembongan. Really delicious with a variety of seafood options. We had the mixed platter with came with a jacket fish, prawns and calamari for 150k RP which was really cheap. The sambal was really delicious and they had very cute cats. They may be quite annoying tho if you don't like cats. A must visit when in Nusa Lembongan. The main sights people see ie. Devil's tear, dream beach, the yellow bridge, blue lagoon, aren't worth it for a day trip. Nice but not worth the hassle. There is a boat company (marlin) that drops off in mushroom bay. I didn't explore that area, but looked like there were a couple of nice swimming bays. Lots of cafes. Nusa Lembongan is a star article!
